It's been our busiest summer yet at EXEAT as we get settled into our new offices and break in the tennis courts! Orders have been whizzing in from all corners of the globe and we've taken on some tremendously exciting new retailers (more on that later). Meanwhile the UK basked in a glorious heatwave which meant pretty much every morning, lunch-time and evening was spent on court - the dream summer scenario! Here's what we managed to slot in between matches...  

EXEAT launched In South Korea...

Seoul is the place were global trends begin - everything from Korean beauty to K-Pop... you name it, this is a nation of ultra cool taste makers so we are honoured and delighted that our beautiful English tennis apparel is now officially available in-store in South Korea.

Awe-struck in Paris by Schiaparelli SHOCKING! retrospective...

During my design trip to Paris I paid a visit to the summer's most hyped  fashion retrospective 'SHOCKING!' celebrating the work of Elsa Schiaparelli. The esteemed Italian couturier was one of Coco Chanel's contemporaries designing in Paris in the 1930s, but this is where the similarities end for what Chanel was to the paired back elegance of 'the little black dress' Schiaparelli was to the world of avant-guard surrealist statement pieces. This sublime retrospective, stunningly curated by Musee Des Arts Decoratifs is a deliciously decadent walk on the wild side of post WW1 fashion. Seeing is believing and if you're in Paris before 22nd Jan 2023 I implore you to visit. 

We began work on EXEAT's SS23 Collection...

Enthused and inspired by the powerfully feminine gaze of Schiaparelli, I came back to the office bursting with ideas and immediately began working up designs with the team for SS23.  Whilst EXEAT's signature 'best of British' lawn tennis silhouettes and form flattering courtwear styles will remain a constant, there have been some incredible fabric innovations in the sustainability space that you'll see throughout the collection including splashes of victorious colour and sublime texture moments that are a joy to play in. Beautiful British tennis dresses, perfectly pleated skirts and enduringly elegant polos incoming!
